The Oxygen Advantage was developed by Patrick McKeown, an international expert on breathing. The program consists of 15 exercises including light, slow and deep breathing along with simulated high-altitude training, a technique used by Navy SEALs and professional athletes to increase endurance and cardio-fitness.
This program can be adapted to the casual athlete as well as an elite athlete. After finishing the program, out-of-shape individuals (including people with chronic respiratory conditions) can climb stairs, run to catch a cab or play team sports without having to stop to catch their breath. Everyone can achieve the following:

Improved sleep and energy
Increased concentration
Reduced breathlessness during exercise
Heightened athletic performance
Improved cardiovascular health
